
Serinna Eason
Director of Beach Volleyball/Owner
Coach Serinna Eason took over the Mt. San Jacinto College women’s volleyball program in 2014. Within her time there, she led the Lady Eagles to two IEAC champsionships, four CCCAA appearances, started the first Beach Volleyball program, and earned the title of the Inland Empire Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 2021.
Prior to coaching, Serinna played two seasons of NCAA Division I volleyball at West Virginia University where as a senior she finished 7th in the nation in digs-per-set. Following her season, she was named to the All Big East Team, as well as earning numerous other accolades such as winning the “Tough as Nails” award her senior season. Coach Eason was additionally invited to the USA National Team try-out at the Olympic Center in Colorado Springs.
Prior to her time at West Virginia, she played two seasons at Concordia University where she was a starting outside hitter on a team that finished as NAIA Naitional Runner-ups. During her second season at Concordia, her team reached the NAIA National semi-finals.

Patrick Springer

Coach Patrick Springer was hired at Mount San Jacinto College in the fall of 2003 as the Associate Dean and head men’s basketball coach. In 2005 he was promoted to his current position of Dean of Kinesiology and Athletics. Under his watch, Eagle athletic teams have won 26 conference championships and have made 3 State Championship finals appearances winning a title in women’s basketball in 2018.
Prior to the Eagles joining the Inland Empire Athletic Conference, Springer led MSJC to three Foothill Conference titles in 2004, 2008, and 2011. Springer has a career head coaching record of 429-226 and since his arrival at MSJC prior to the 2003-04 season, the Eagles have posted a mark of 359-165. Springer reached the 400 win mark on December 14th, 2019 when the Eagles defeated Riverside City College 55-48.
In his career, Springer’s teams averaged 21 wins per season. The Eagles also reached the Elite Eight of the State Tournament twice since 2011. Springer has led his teams to thirteen 20 win seasons and the Eagles have reached that mark 10 of the past 12 years. Last year’s team reached the CCCAA playoffs for the 13th consecutive season.
Under Coach Springer’s direction, 34 players have signed Division I scholarships and many more have moved on to the NCAA Division II and NAIA levels.
